We’re very excited to be returning to Cambridge in just a few weeks time to take part in Mill Road Winter Fair 2013 on Saturday 7 December.

Last year we worked with local schools, local resident and producer Nicky Webb, and Parkside Federation to create a colourful carnival parade which snaked through the streets. You can read more about last year’s fair here.

This year, the parade is set to be even bigger.  Ali Pretty and Iola Weir have trained 8 local artists to make mobiles in the community. These brightly coloured mobiles (all 140 of them!) plus lots of Kinetika costumes and the show-stopping peacock tower will all feature in the parade.

Local schools and community groups taking part include: St Matthews primary School, St Philips Primary School, Ridgefield Primary School, Castle Project, Brownies, Jimmy’s Night Shelter, Parkside Federation and more.

Watch a video of last year’s parade and interviews with Ali Pretty and Nicky Webb, plus Mayor of Cambridge, Councillor Sheila Stuart.
