This year 750 young people from across the UK will join the NYT and undertake training as part of their Stadium Arts programme. This year NYT are pleased to announce a new creative partnership with Kinetika to deliver the next stage of their Stadium Arts programme.
Together, we will train young people to deliver spectacular performances (focussing on puppetry and animation) in real-life settings on an Olympic-scale. This intensive training culminates in an in-house performance that showcases the passion and skill of the 75O young people who have taken part. Visit www.nyt.org.uk

AfroReggea's workshop with Kinetika Bloco
February 2010AfroReggae led a workshop with the Kinetika Bloco on Friday 22nd Jan with over 30 of the Bloco’s members. This was an inspiring evening for us finding out about all the work they are doing with young people, drug traffickers and police in some of the poorest Favela’s in Rio and a great taste of their style of music and dance. Luciano, Betho and Raphael from AfroReggae led a session with over 30 Bloco members and by the end of the night they’d created a great piece of performance. Check it out on the Bloco’s Facebook page or You Tube. Hopefully this is the start of a longer term relationship as the Bloco loved the workshop and the AfroReggae guys also said it was one of the best workshops they’d led here in London. Find out more about the amazing work of AfroReggae and the projects they are working on in the UK with People’s Palace Projects at www.favelatotheworld.org
