Kinetika's longstanding experience running school workshops means that we can create a bespoke project for each school. Using inset days to train teachers builds a team of confident carnival practitioners, enabling the teachers to run future projects on their own, with artistic guidance from Kinetika.
Previous projects include collaborations with Creative Partnerships in London and Harwich. All practitioners are CRB checked.
Kinetika have had close ties with Fulham Primary School 2007. Working on with students and teachers, CP projects have involved costume design, carnival and storytelling which celebrate the diversity of the school, in parallel with the diversity of London. Fulham Primary is now an active partner in Kinetika's 5 year participatory art project Imagination Our Nation.

"Staff have been really enthused after the initial Kinetika CPD day - it has been a great opportunity for staff to work together. Children were stimulated by the idea, got a real thrill out of seeing the final costume designs and are excited about putting it all together. We found that when we mapped the project to the curriculum for spring/summer terms, it covered several subject areas across all year groups including science, design and technology, history, geography, art and a wealth of literacy opportunities."
