“It has been a pleasure working with you over the last year, from initial conversations and conceptions, to watching the beautiful flags and scrolls being carried down the Mall. Your performance held such an important message on so many levels, and it was lovely that you could involve the Key Workers and their stories throughout the whole process. It was the perfect way to say, ‘Thank You’ and to end the Let’s Celebrate section of the Pageant.”

It was the flags that instantly grabbed me. The colour and detail, and the way they sprang into life with a breeze and some sunshine behind them.
What soon became apparent was that bearing a seven-metre pole with a dazzlingly colourful silk banner attached had something of a religious pilgrimage about it.

The depth of the T100 festivals proves how embedded and established it is within the local landscape and how listening is pivotal to artistic integrity & co-creation. The future is bound to be colourful and richly layered in exciting content. Thank you for shining a light on Thurrock in ways beyond words.
